Inspired by the original piece and the cover by the 12 Girls Band, I set out to fashion a cover myself of this song on the guzheng which could be called a Chinese piano of sorts. I am still quite a novice and am not satisfied with this piece quite yet. Be on the lookout for another, newer, and hopefully, better cover of Clocks by Coldplay. An ancient Chinese practice that may have begun around 4000 BC or earlier, Feng Shui is often used in Western cultures today to decorate homes and furniture. Many people argue that Feng Shui can affect personal relationships, physical well-being and even finances. Pronounced "Fung-Shway" or "Fung-Shwe" inEnglish, the words "Fung Shui" is literally translated means "wind water." The practice is believed that the positive Qi, which can help improve their lives by promoting the laws of heaven and earth. Qi is often translated as "energy flow", or energy that is active in all things.

A first example of using Feng Shui in China Banpo, an archaeological site in the Yellow River valley, which was discovered in 1953 and is made of settlements from around 4500AC. The doors of the apartments were astronomically aligned to the winter solstice. Similar arrangements were in ruins in other parts of the world have discovered that the Chinese were not the only building with such practices.

There are several classical techniques of Feng Shui, including Bagua, Bai Zi, Ba Zhai and Qimen Dunja, using all different methods and practices. In general, Feng Shui seems to be on Taoist principles, an understanding that nature is full ofEnergy and very much alive.

The practice of Feng Shui involves the compass (Lo-Pan) and the Ba-Gua, an octagon-shaped lattice, the I Ching contains symbols. I-Ching, Yin and Yang and five elements are the fundamental principles derived from Taoism and play an important role in the practice of Feng Shui.
